ESHYUNDAI elevators start building smart new factories in Shanghai China
The HYUNDAI elevator broke ground 28th in the new factory of Jinshan industrial zone in Shanghai.
The new factory can produce 25,000 sets of elevator products every year. The new factory site is 123,564 square meters, is equipped with the Internet of Things (IoT) technology Intelligent Factory, the internal research and development (R&D) center, as well as real-time monitoring, management elevator operation of the Customer Maintenance center.
Also built a test tower, 175 meters high, deep underground 10 meters, can test the operation of 14 sets of elevators. The construction cost of the factory is 120 billion won, which is built by modern buildings and is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
When the new factory is put into production, the production capacity of HYUNDAI elevators will increase to 3.5 times times. HYUNDAI elevators say China is the world's largest elevator market, and success in China means that it will soon be successful in the world market. The future will be the new factory as the center, deepen the expansion of the Chinese market.
